On October 13 in the Ministry of Culture first consultative meeting was held between the Ministry and trade unions representatives where the details of future negotiations were discussed. It was attended by Lithuanian service workers' trade union chairman Aleksandras Posochovas.
In the meeting the negotiating parties appointed representatives, the principles of representation and the possible objects of the CBA. The Ministry of Culture team was led by Deputy Minister Nijole Laužikienė, trade unions were represented by A.Posochovas and Arvydas Dambrauskas, United trade union chairman and Juozas Rimkus, the acting chairman Lithuanian cultural workers trade union.
It was agreed in the near future to meet for the first negotiating session.
We note that LPSDPS and the United trade union made a joint trade union representation and introduced to the Ministry of Culture for collective branch agreement negotiations.
