The young trade unionists pointed out to the senior officials participated in the festival, to the interior minister Raimundas Palaitis, to foreign police representatives and policemen from all over Lithuania that at the moment in Vilnius members of the interior affairs union of the Republican Lithuania are starving. However, so far their requirements aren’t responded appropriately by the authorities.

Young representatives from Lithuanian republican interior affairs trade union requirements to the Government distributed to foreign officials and the media representatives.

"With this campaign we did not want to sour the celebration of officials, we just invited all the officials in Lithuania for solidarity and we seek that those who speak at the podium would speak honestly," - said LPSK Youth Chairman J. Adomaitis (in the top picture second from right). Probably therefore the Minister R. Palaitis, and Chief Commissioner of Police Vizgirdas Telyčėnas in their speeches mentioned the starving officers and received questions from the media on the subject.

According to Juozas, the campaign went smoothly, nothing was wrong, the participants were welcomed quite friendly by the festival participants.

After the celebration members of the Association at the Laisves Avenue put up a slogan and requirements to the Government.
