Sportsmen trade union will become a member of the international organization

On September 17-19, Sportsmen Trade Union (SPS) Vice-President Aleksandr Čiulanov, committee member Valerijus Sokolovas and Kęstutis Šalavėjus in Dublin (Ireland) participated in the Elite athletes professional association (EU Athletes) conference.The association brings together organizations from 15 European countries, representing 25 thousand athletes. Its representatives visited Lithuania in the summer and then invited the Lithuanian Sportsmen union representatives to the conference. Soon SPS will become EU Athletes member.
The conference covered following topics: the fight against doping, social dialogue in sport, image rights.
