Termination of collective agreement is postponed

A few days ago the security company G4S Lithuania CEO Saulius Tulevičius talked to the media that he ceases the collective agreement for economic reasons. Also, that he is not afraid of any international organizations, pickets and strikes.On 19 March, 2010 the letter was received, that a collective agreement termination will be postponed to June 1. In a previous letter it was reported that the agreement signed on 17 July, 2009 will be terminated from 1 April of 2010.
This letter signed on 15 of March states that agreement termination date is postponed in accordance with the Labor Code, Article 4, Paragraph 4; and Article 65.
