LPSDPS joined by athletes union

On September 9 in the inaugural meeting was established Lithuanian athletes' union. Among the more than 30 organization founders are former professional athletes and professionals. According to the new trade union chairman Yuri Kravčuk, there are members of various sports: boxers, football players, and even Lithuanian women bodybuilding champion.According to the chairman, the main focus will be representation and defense of professional athletes, whose livelihood is sport.
But the problem of athletes in the reality is completely similar to other employees unions. It related to salaries. Sector lacks of transparency and trade union will struggle that athletes would not be deceived. Also working conditions are important. Among the immediate plans is distribution of information about organization in the sport community.
