On August 29 in Kaunas, Drivers union chairman Ramunas Narbutas met with the International Transport Federation (ITF) ground transportation section secretary Mac Urata.
The meeting was organized to share experiences, discuss problems faced by long distance drivers. Also talked about opportunities for cooperation and membership in ITF.
According to R. Narbutas, our guest has participated in Lithuanian Transport Workers 'Trade Union Forum seminar in Birzai, and later while in Kaunas by the suggestion of Janina Malinovska, the coordinator of Nordic Transport Workers' Federation in the Baltic countries and Poland, met with the newly formed union chairman.
