International security sector trade union conference

On May 27-29, Lithuania hosted the Conference of the international security sector trade union representatives. Trade unionists from Lithuania, Poland, Estonia, Bulgaria, Slovenia and Germany discussed the situation in the sector, compared representation regulations in international companies in various countries, co-ordinated the positions on international issues.According to the Lithuanian service sector workers' trade union chairman Aleksandras Posochovas, annually renewed project has aim to bring closer new EU member security sector trade unions, to establish united committee to actively represent these countries in international organizations.
