March 19, at 12 o’clock, the Lithuanian Trade Union Co-ordination Center (Lithuanian Labour Federation, the Lithuanian Trade Union Confederation, the Lithuanian Trade Union "Solidarumas") and the Lithuanian Journalists' Union in Vilnius are preparing a march and rally.

Those who wish to come to the capital from other Lithuanian cities, please contact LPSK coordinators from regions.

Participants are invited to gather next to Seimas (Gedimino ave. 53), after that procession via Gediminas Avenue will move towards the Government of the Republic of Lithuania (Gedimino ave. 11) building. There will be a meeting.

The main civil protest slogan:

                                                                Enough to!

                                                                          - Unemployment and poverty,

                                                                          - Low-wages

                                                                          - Growth of prices

                                                                          - Migration

REQUIREMENTS:

• The minimum wage (MMW) should be increased to 1,000 litas.

• To introduce a progressive tax system, taxing all income, thus reducing social exclusion.

• Increase employment through a variety of recruitment methods.

• Reduce value-added tax on food products.

• Reduce utility costs.

• Bring back pensions to the year 2008 level.

• Reduce taxes for small businesses.

• Reduce the rate of value added tax (VAT) for printed material.
