Sportsmen Trade Union in cooperation with betting company TonyBet prepared a betting code of conduct for athletes and their families.

It describes the general principles and suggestions for competing athletes all over Europe, how to reconcile the appropriate relationship between sports and betting.

In the betting code of conduct five key principles of betting for athletes were described:

1.       Know the rules;

2.   Never bet on yourself or an opponent;

3.       Play safe – don’t bet on your sport;

4.      Be careful disseminating information;

5.      Fair races.

Brochure is distributed to members of the SPS in meetings with various sports federations, clubs and athletes and at betting company TonyBet betting places.
