Concerned about spread of illegal casinos, particularly on the Internet

Lithuanian service sector workers' trade union chairman Aleksandras Posochovas and gaming sector trade union leader Andrejus Lipa on September 22-23 took part in an international organization UNI gaming sector (UNI Gaming) annual conference in Switzerland. According to A. Posochovas, the main theme of the event - a growing number of illegal businesses, in particular - the rapidly spreading online gambling.Lithuanian gaming trade union - the only one existing in the Baltic countries, therefore, it was accepted and listened with big attention. Lithuanian representatives stressed to the Conference that the country with gaming laws started to restrict gaming business. Moreover, in the Baltic countries staff salaries reduced by 20 percent, considerable part of the business moved into the shadows.
