Opposing intention to liquidate the library of Academy of Sciences

Lithuanian Academy of Sciences Library employees wrote an open letter to Education and Science Minister Gintaras Steponavicius on the intention to liquidate the library, and distribute the books and manuscripts to other libraries. Petition to the Minister could be signed online. Library workers trade union joined Lithuanian service sector workers' trade unions Cultural sector in 2007.
